Biography

Zoe Chan is a Lecturer of French at the University of Kansas. She is a passionate educator and enjoys helping students see how language and culture connect to their own lives. Her love for French language and culture began when she lived in Lorraine, France with a family, an experience that continues to inspire her teaching today. In the classroom, she enjoys creating fun, interactive learning experiences for her students. Zoe is also interested in medieval literature and culture, exploring how its â€‹stories continue to shape contemporary society. Fluent in Malay and Mandarin, and with a love for traveling and learning about different cultures, she is committed to promoting intercultural understanding and preparing students to succeed academically and personally.
