Michelle Roesner

Having completed her undergraduate studies in May of 2023 at the University of Kansas, specializing in French and Anthropology, Michelle Roesner was inspired to continue her studies with KU as a candidate for the Master of Arts in French and Francophone Studies. During her undergraduate, Michelle studied abroad in Chambéry, a city nestled in the French Alpes in the region of Savoie. Here, she encountered the rich culture and beautiful language of France. The culmination of her newfound passion for French and her already nurtured love of culture and linguistics have fueled her continued zealous learning and her enthusiasm for teaching French. Currently, Michelle teaches French 110 alongside completing her graduate coursework in Medieval literature and French pedagogy.
