Jacob Hendrix

Jacob Hendrix is a first-year MA student and GTA in the Department of French, Francophone, and Italian Studies. He graduated from University of California, Davis with a BA in Music and a BA in French. Under his advisor, Caroline Jewers, he hopes to use the interrelationship of popular music and farce in 16^th-century northern France to elaborate on the political and ethical dilemmas that eventually lead to 17^th-century French absolutism.
