Garrett Gaddy is a first-year vegetarian, MA student, and GTA in the Department of French & Italian.  After graduating from KU in 2015 with a degree in French and Finance, he spent a chill(y) year teaching English in Marcq-En-Baroeul, Nord-Pas-De-Calais-Picardie-Hauts-De-France, France.  On the rare occasion when he finds himself with free time, he enjoys running and reading and beer and BBQ (hence the running) and puzzles and crosswords and dogs and not cats and traveling and all the major sports and Netflix, sometimes.  And did we mention he is a vegetarian? He is a vegetarian (N.B. when he goes to Arthur Bryant’s, which boasts undoubtedly the finest BBQ in all the land, he orders cole slaw, baked beans, and red cream soda; when he goes to Chipotle, he orders quesadillas with guacamole cause it tastes better cause it costs more.)  Last, but certainly not least, Garrett is a pretentious, parroting vegetarian with extraordinarily poor taste in food and humor.  Good thing we didn’t let him write his own bio.
