Alexander Hansen is a second-year MA student at the University of Kansas studying French and working as a Graduate Instructor. He is originally from Edmonds, Washington and obtained his BA in French at KU. While enjoying reading and language learning as hobbies, he is also a classical and jazz trained Bass Trombonist. Last year, he received the award for Excellence in Graduate Studies and had the opportunity to attend the Applied Humanities Bootcamp during the summer of 2020. He is currently preparing for his MA exams taking place during the Spring 2021 semester.
